The Inaugural Queen’s University Belfast School of Law Teaching Awards that took place on Wednesday shone a spotlight on our outstanding educators who go above and beyond for their students.

From innovation in teaching to student support and inclusivity, these awards recognise the passion and dedication of our academic staff. With student representatives playing a key role, this initiative marks a new tradition of celebrating excellence in legal education in the Law School. Congratulations to all nominees and winners.

Exciting opportunity – our Law School’s first Criminal Work Shadowing Week!

Our School is thrilled to announce the rollout of our first-ever Criminal Work Shadowing Week, an exciting opportunity exclusively for QUB law students!

To be eligible to register interest in participation, students must be:

Running from 2nd – 6th June 2025, this week-long program is limited to 20 students, offering an immersive experience in the Criminal Justice system. Full information on this initiative is detailed in the below two-page leaflet:

The application deadline is 28th March 2025 at 12noon; participants will be randomly selected from the applicants, and a reserve list will also be created.
