Our showcase event: QUB virtual Legal Careers talk from an experienced legal graduate recruiter

Are you curious about what it truly takes to secure a training contract from someone who’s evaluated thousands of aspiring solicitors? Join an honest and eye-opening virtual talk with seasoned legal graduate recruiter Lindsey.

With over seven years of experience in the early careers team at a leading law firm and having consulted for numerous international law firms, Lindsey is perfectly placed to guide you through crucial topics. These include why having a genuine passion for law is essential for success, how to navigate the recruitment process without frustration, and what law firms are really looking for in candidates beyond academics.

She will also discuss how graduate recruiters assess both your aptitude and personality, the art of crafting tailored applications that catch recruiters’ attention, and how to approach a vacation scheme like an extended interview. Students will also have the chance to ask their burning questions in the live Q&A.
