TLT Remote Spring Insight Scheme 2026 – applications now open!

Looking to explore a career in commercial law? Applications are now open for the TLT LLP Spring Insight Scheme 2026, taking place from 1st to 2nd April 2026 (virtual programme). This two-day scheme is a great opportunity to gain real insight into life at a leading commercial law firm. TLT works across a wide range of sectors, including Future Energy, Digital, Financial Services, Real Estate, and more - so you'll get a broad view of how legal work supports modern businesses.

What can you expect?

The programme is open to university students, graduates, and college/sixth form students interested in pursuing a career in law, whether through a graduate route or an apprenticeship.

This year's scheme will be hosted by Iffat Hussain (Early Careers Advisor), who will offer participants valuable guidance and support throughout. If you're curious about commercial law and want to build confidence, ask questions, and start shaping your future career, this is an excellent place to start.

Boost your legal skills this Summer with the Aspiring Solicitors ‘AS Access Programme’

The Aspiring Solicitors AS Access Programme (ASAP) offers eligible students a unique opportunity to gain the practical skills, tools, and techniques used daily in commercial legal practice. This bespoke three‑day coaching initiative, developed in collaboration with Akin and A&O Shearman, provides participants with hands‑on experience using real legal documents and practical exercises designed to mirror trainee-level responsibilities.

ASAP is the first trainee‑skills programme of its kind, giving students an early advantage ahead of vacation schemes and future applications. Through workshops led by lawyers and recruitment professionals, participants will enhance their written communication, build commercial awareness, and strengthen key soft skills required for professional success.

This programme is open to Aspiring Solicitors members who meet the academic and year‑of‑study criteria, have an interest in pursuing a legal career, and have not yet accepted a training contract. Sponsored by A&O Shearman and Akin - with additional input from firms such as Dechert, DWF, Freshfields, and Osborne Clarke - ASAP offers invaluable insight into the expectations and realities of life as a trainee solicitor.
