New clinical project launched between Queen's School of Law and the Global Legal Action Network

The value of online open source information as evidence in documenting international law violations is increasingly recognised. The Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) and its investigative partners, Bellingcat, have been immersed in this emerging area since late 2018 and have developed a pioneering, purpose-built methodology aimed at ensuring evidence obtained through online open source investigation will be admissible at trial.

The Walkers Ireland Trainee Solicitor Programme is open for applications.  Walkers is a leading global financial services law firm, and its Trainee Solicitor Programme would provide a great start to your career as a financial services lawyer.  They are looking for talented candidates’ who have an interest in financial services law, and who wish to experience the training and opportunities needed to become a successful lawyer.  Their programme supplements the Professional Practice Course (PPC) at Blackhall, and includes a wide range of department specific workshops, seminars and practice group insights.  Trainee lawyers will have their expertise developed via a minimum of three legal service practice area rotations, whilst working alongside leading financial services lawyers.
