The Law Society of Northern Ireland is running ‘Conveyancing Week 2024’ from the 14th -18th October. At heart, legal conveyancing is the process of transferring property ownership from one party to another, to ensure a lawful and smooth property transaction.
This event will provide an overview of conveyancing work, and valuable insights into the world of private practice. This is a unique chance to hear firsthand about the realities of working in private practice, including the day-to-day challenges, the diverse range of cases, and the skills needed to thrive. Engaging directly with professionals who have built their careers in this dynamic field will help you understand what it truly means to work in a private law firm, from client interactions to managing complex legal matters. Whether you’re considering your future career path or simply curious about what private practice entails, this event offers a rare opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, and learn from those who have successfully navigated this career path.
