For the first time, undergraduate law students can access LAW4001, a flexible online course designed to help you build the skills and confidence needed for future career success.

What is the LAW4001 Future-Ready Skills Course?

• A voluntary employability and skills development course, designed to prepare undergraduate students for their future career;
• Online and on-demand, LAW4001 is available all year round. Students are free to complete as much of the course as they chose. No due dates for assignments;
• Complete the course by 1st April of your final year of study, to gain a Future Ready Skills Certificate alongside your degree at graduation;
• The course takes approximately 25-30 hours to complete. That’s only 5 hours per semester over a 3-year degree!

LAW4001 Future Ready Skills

TLT Belfast: SQE Training Contract - September 2027

TLT is recruiting for its Belfast SQE Training Contract, offering graduates the opportunity to qualify as a Solicitor in England & Wales and dual qualify in Northern Ireland.

Successful applicants will begin full-time SQE1 study from February 2027, before commencing a four-seat Training Contract in September 2027. SQE2 preparation and assessment will take place during the first two seats, alongside practical legal experience.

Trainees will work on live matters and client projects across a range of sectors, including Financial Services, Future Energy, Digital, Real Estate, Infrastructure and the Public Sector, with support from supervisors throughout their development.
