A&L Goodbody (ALG) has welcomed nine newly qualified solicitors to its Northern Ireland practice following the successful completion of the firm's Trainee Solicitor Programme in Belfast, including four Queen's Law alumni.

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of Declan Gorman, Rachel Horner, David Anderson and Jasmine Bird, all of whom completed their undergraduate studies at our School of Law before undertaking their professional legal training through the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) at Queen's.
A further three of the newly qualified solicitors - Jenna Blaney, Connor Thompson and Patrick Murray - also have a Queen's connection, having completed their professional legal training through IPLS, despite undertaking their undergraduate studies elsewhere. Victoria Boyd and Hannah McKay complete the group of nine solicitors.
These newly qualified solicitors have joined ALG's Corporate, Property and Litigation teams, where they will work with clients across a broad range of sectors as they take the next step in their legal careers.
Their achievements are a fantastic example of the opportunities available to law graduates who build their legal careers in Northern Ireland, and we are particularly proud to see so many Queen's Law graduates and IPLS trainees progressing into qualified solicitor roles with one of Northern Ireland's leading law firms. We are also pleased to recognise A&L Goodbody as a valued employer partner of the School of Law. ALG regularly engages with our students through careers and employability activities, providing opportunities for students to gain insight into the profession and hear directly from practising lawyers.
Congratulations to all nine newly qualified solicitors on this significant career milestone, and particularly to our Queen's alumni and IPLS trainees. We wish them every success in this next stage of their legal careers.
